Season 18 has officially wrapped filming! We now enter the post-production part of the Season, which mostly consists of editing the episodes. This process typically takes 2-3 months, and then the Season will be ready to air, only awaiting a spot on the schedule from FX! Unfortunately this is somewhat unpredictable, as it could range from an immediate date, meaning we would get Season 18 this summer, or a much later date, setting Season 18 for a September or October premiere.
The good news is, in addition to a cast photo, the end of filming brings a wrap gift!
In addition to a bottle of Four Walls Whiskey (lmao), the wrap gift also looks to include a jersey for the "Paddy's Pinstripes"! Based on the note, we can probably safely assume that the Little League team the Gang are involved with this season is named after their infamous pub! (Very cute.)
And speaking of that note, we knew about the Ren Faire from Charlie, and the parade was a recent addition to our roster of Season 18 plots, but there's a new mention: a wedding!
Well, I say "new," but this was actually something we speculated pretty early on in this Season, as the finale of Season 17 ended with Frank proposing to Samantha. So it's probably safe to assume the wedding is between the two of them...but it's Sunny, so you never know!
We got quite a bit of information from filming this year (much more than I could have predicted!), and while the frequency might slow down, we're certainly not done as we head in to post-production. Keep checking back for updates and more information as and when we manage to come across it!
This Season is looking like an all-timer already
